Instead of spending a lot of money purchasing full-size batches from several varieties, this sampler gives beginners an affordable way to experience both Button and Coturnix Quail in one order.
The eggs have generally similar incubation temperature and humidity needs, making them convenient to incubate during the same incubation project. However, Button and Coturnix Quail may have different hatch timing and care requirements, so we strongly encourage researching both species before incubation.
IMPORTANT: Although they may be incubated during the same project when proper species-specific incubation guidance is followed, Button Quail and Coturnix Quail should NOT be housed together as adults. They differ greatly in size, behavior, housing requirements, and other care needs. Please plan appropriate separate housing before your chicks hatch.
Fresh, Carefully Selected Hatching Eggs
Our fertile eggs are collected fresh from our flock and carefully selected for quality before shipment. Eggs are kept unwashed to preserve their natural protective bloom and are handled and stored appropriately prior to shipping.
Because shell colors and patterns are naturally produced by our birds, every egg is unique. Colors, spotting, markings, and varieties will differ from order to order — that’s part of the fun!
About Shipped Hatching Eggs
We take great care when selecting and packaging your eggs and guarantee that the 12 purchased eggs are packaged with the goal of arriving intact. When available, we also include complimentary extras to help compensate for the unpredictable journey through the mail.
Please understand that fertility does not guarantee hatchability. Once eggs enter the shipping system, many factors are outside of our control, including handling, temperature changes, delays, vibration, incubator accuracy, humidity, turning practices, and the individual incubation process.
For these reasons, we cannot guarantee a specific hatch rate on shipped hatching eggs.
Complimentary extra eggs are gifts and are not included when determining the purchased egg quantity or hatch results.
Local Pickup
If you are located near us, local pickup is always encouraged whenever possible. Avoiding shipping gives hatching eggs the gentlest possible start before incubation.
Before You Order
Please research the needs of both Button Quail and Coturnix Quail before purchasing, including incubation, brooder setup, feed, temperature, enclosure size, adult housing, and long-term care.
Allow young quail time to mature before judging their final appearance. Feather colors and patterns can change considerably as chicks grow and develop their adult plumage.
Whether you’re completely new to quail or simply curious about adding another variety to your flock, our Button + Coturnix Sampler Pack is a fun and affordable way to hatch a little bit of both!
